- I am a US Coast Guard wife and mom to 3 great kiddos. I am a craftaholic! I love to stamp, sew, embroider.. you name it! I also love photography.

The designs are Embroidery Library...Mini Lace Ornaments in the Christmas section. I think they may have a sale on at present for Christmas designs but you need to sign up for their newsletter...it's free (maybe you already know this?)
I stitch them out on a double layer of soluble vilene. Fill the hoop up with them and set the machine going and just come back to change colours. I use Embird to put all the designs in the hoop before putting them in the machine.
Don't know if you've done lace before (not my favourite embroidery!) but it's best to use the same thread in the bobbin as it's free standing.
What sort of embroidery machine do you have? I'm very, very lucky to have a new Brother Quattro...thanks to my friends who own a sewing machine shop :)...I paid cost for it. I haven't used it much as I haven't had a lot of sewing time this year :( I find I can do a card in a little time where sewing I need a whole day.
