- I live in Long Beach, CA with my husband of 32 years. We have 2 children, Christopher 31, and Katelyn 26, and 4 grandchildren: Ryan 6, Calli 1 1/2, Izzy 5mos., and Riley 3mos. I was introduced to stamping 10 years ago when I couldn't attend a Stampin' Up! workshop in Apr. 1999, and asked to see the catalog. I was hooked. I wanted to buy everything in the caty. Ended up buying only $350.00 worth of stamps. Couldn't wait for order and went shopping at every craft and stamp store I could find in my area. I hosted my first workshop in June of that year and kept interupting the demo. wanting to show everyone all the tecniques I knew. I bought over $500.00 in merchandise that night and also signed up as a Stampin'Up! demonstrator that night. I have never looked back and love the art of rubberstamping even more as the years go on. I tried to start my own business, but have never been real successful with that, so I continue to this day just to be a hobbyist.
