- My name is Mary, I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am a Christian who continues to grow in Faith. I'm a working mom of three wonderful young men 25,20 & 17. Our youngest son was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (cancer in the bone of his right leg) when he was 12 years old. He has been through 1 year of chemo (19 treatments) all in-patient in the hospital and a surgery to replace the bone in his right leg with a metal prosthetic one. Our faith was tested and it paid off in a huge way. He is cancer free and doing great. Praise God for healing him. He received a wish from the Make-a-Wish foundation, that gift sure was God sent. It was a computer that helped him pass the time during all those weeks in the hospital. I now am working on “paying it forward”. I am working with the Make-a-wish foundation here in Albuquerque. So far it has been very easy, I am making Thank you cards.
I've been married to my best friend for 22 years. I fell in love with him because he could make me laugh. He is still making me laugh and I know we have a great life ahead of us.
I have only been stamping for about two years but I love it. I love stamping, scrap booking, teaching and learning paper crafting. Being creative is such an important part of my life and a great way to let off steam!

I was so glad to read that your son is doing well after his battle with cancer. Our 18 year old nephew was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) almost 1 year ago. He received a bone marrow transplant from his 13 year old sister in May of this year and was doing well. Just a week ago we found out that his leukemia has returned. I don't know how all of the family could have dealt with this without our faith in God. I was so glad to read your testimony in your "about me". Thank you for the comment you wrote about my photo projects. I hope you'll accept my friend request.

Your projects are awesome. I have only been doing this alittle over a year now and don't know why l didn't start earlier. Guess the timing wasn't there. But now l will try and make up for lost time.
I am so glad to hear that your son is doing well. When unforseen events happen in our lives, faith is what we have to lean on. My faith was tested 14 years ago when my husband just out of the blue, had a heart attack and needed a pacemaker. It was the most horrible time for us, but l just kept repeating the Serenity Prayer over and over again. My husband is doing so well now that it is a blessing everyday. What was so ironic about his heart attack, was that it took place the same day as our older daughter got married one year apart. God Bless You. I just donated a full card box to our local Make A Wish Foundation. My husband and l are upholsterers by trade and for a couple of years, we were making home made teddy bears for the foundation out of sheepskin and leather. But we could no longer make them for the foundation because of allergies with the children which is understandable. But it was fun.
You won't have to guess about SU project but you'll have to wait! The catalog will go on-line in April and you should be able to go to www.stampinup.com then go to Our Products then Current Catalogs. Find the Occasions catalog and click on the download for Supplies. The main catalog is there now and has two versions of supplies, one with a photograph of project and one with text-only. Hope this helps!
