At 12:58am on December 22, 2008, Michelle said…: Thats ok. I havent been on much due to work & general holiday business. The Japanese stores are set up pretty much like US stores. They immediatly greet you when you walk in the door though. Most times, if you are even just passing by and look in, they will smile & greet you. They are amazingly friendly! Yea, theres a lot of Hello Kitty and oragami here. Their clothes and shoes are tiny & expensive. They have some very humorous items too. I havent found a scrapbook store yet but they do have general craft stores. Those prices are high too. I can shop online, pay shipping and have $$ left over versus shopping in Japan. They do have some cool stuff though, like Kodomo papers, Copics (which are about $4 a piece) and cool Japanese stamps. they have tons of Disney stuff too. I'm outside of Tokyo so traffic is a bear. I havent tried Manga.Check out the Japanese Dr Pepper labels I used to make these ATCS. I hope to take a Shodo class in January. I havent seen a Manga class offered but it WOULD be interesting. I hope to get more Copics for Christmas. I WILL eventually own them all!!!! I colored these cards using Copics.

Hubby asked why. I said I just wanna go home so I can shop at NORMAL stores & buy the things our family needs. lol We are getting adjusted but there are times I just want to hope on the next plane out.
