scrapbooking, rubber stamping, altered items (notebooks
We require that you apply for membership in order to weed out spammers. Please tell us all about you:
I've been a full time crafter for 4 years since illness forced me into retirement. Happily married, we are virtual empty nesters with two sons visiting during semester breaks, some weekends, and holidays. I love stamping - my newest "favorite" paper craft but enjoy everything else to do with paper as well.

I make specialty and made to order scrap books, baby and wedding albums and cards.

In addition to my work, I enjoy reading, gardening with my wonderful husband, and cuddling with our dogs.
Where do you live?
Newburyport, Massachusetts
Do you have a blog? We'd love for you to share it with us! Please add your website:
http://www.seasiderosecottage.blogspot.com
How did you hear about this group?
Through a reference on another blog
What is your favorite place to shop for paper crafts?
Hmmmm. I love Mothers and Daughters Creations of course (!) Flourishes, Papertrey, Cape Arago, and Stamps Francisco for stamps and special designer papers. If I need something more generic, I shop locally at JoAnn Fabrics, AC Moore, Michael's and Wal-Mart.

Getting to Know Everyone and Everything About Paper Craft Planet

Even though I have a blog, this new site is so exciting and I'm looking forward to visiting all of the other members' sites here as well.

Thanks for the Welcome! I can't honestly remember where I saw a link to this site - quite likely at MDC, but I visited and set up this page a week or two ago. I saw the invitation to join the MDC group today on the MDC blog page. Can you tell, I'm still trying to find my way around the site! I wish I were more of a technowizard but I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually. ;)

Fall Scrap Book Pages

Well, they don't LOOK like "traditional" fall pages, but what could be more "fall" than football? And what is more integral to a college football game than the marching band's half time show?

Our son, Jacob, has been a proud member of the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band, first on the tuba line, and then playing mellophone. The UMMB is one of the highest ranked college bands in the country. The director, Mr. George Parks, has been the band director for 31 years and has develo… Continue

Window Cards

Recently, I made this acetate window card for the MDC window challenge. The weekend after I finished experimenting with this, I made a similar but not as complex window card for the recent SCS "Cabaret" VSN. Once I figured out how best to put them together, these were actually ver… Continue

Playing Catch-up

I'm finally getting caught up, uploading pictures into my SCS gallery. In addition to my card for this week's challenge, I uploaded pictures of all of the Chanukah table decorations I made, plus cards for the challenges of weeks 18, 17, 8, and 12.

Here they are, plus links to my SCS gallery entries for details.
