Our GCA for this week: Clean and Simple stamping.

Definition: A clean and simple card has limited layers and sometimes just a card base. It leaves a lot of "open space". It uses little or no embellishments. Any techniques should be the old standard everyday kind like sponging, distressing and piercing. Limit the number of tools you use. Any colored images should be small and quick. Don't go overboard on tons of punches and embossing. CAS cards should be easy and quick.

For this week's GCA, we are framing, some or all, of the images on your creation!!! As you can see in both of my samples, I framed only the main image. If you want to make a larger frame to fit you whole card, go for it!! As long as somewhere on your card there is a framed image

Hello everyone!! This week for the GCA the only stamping allowed is with the use of sentiment stamps!! NO flowers, hearts, birds stamps, etc. can be used! Only your sentiments! If you look around your stamp room I'm sure you'll find plenty of items/ways to create your card! You CAN use die cuts of flowers, birds etc on your creation, but the only actual stamping is with your sentiment stamp!

The challenge for this week is to create a card, scrapbook page or project that has a Valentine's Day theme AND incorporates the colors of pink and/or red! You may use other colors as well, but pink and/or red should be the dominate colors. There is no limit on neutrals.
