Happy New Year, everyone!! I'm finally starting to feel like my old self after SERIOUSLY overdoing this weekend when we had our annual Eighth Night of Chanukah Open House. Today, in addition to making a tag card for Maria's challenge, I am adding the pictures to the scrap book pages I made earlier in the month. Right now, I am EVER so glad I had those made in advance!

I'll post them on my blog as well as send them on to Linda and Tam in case they want to post updated versions on the MDC blog as well, but here are a couple of pictures of the menorahs. Our family and friends lit a total of 12 menorahs on Sunday and in keeping with the Jewish mitzvah (commandment) of kindling the Chanukah lights either on the porch or in a window so they can spread the light of peace and joy to every corner of the world, we lit them all in front of a huge palladian window we have.

Ahhh - but this is the quiet time and the first I have had to see what is going on out here! The hot chocolate sounds good though!

Ha! We are the awake twins!! Mom and I both only function normally between the hours of 11pm and 2 am :) I get so frustrated when the kiddoes stay up late and I have to remember to remind myself where they get it from!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Melita, your card boxes rock!! Going next to check out the tutorial :) Of course, Maria and Cathy you already know how much I love your work but I'll say it again - FABOO on both projects!!!

Why are you awake!!! Go get some rest!!! The work will be there tomorrow. Go put your feet up, have a cup of hot chocolate, and turn your computer off LOL!
