Lynn and I were talking about weird things we've used crafting supplies for in our household or elsewhere. I said I have a pair of SU Paper Snips in my manicure kit and she's thinking about using i {stick} papers tape to help her weatherstripping problem. Have YOU used any crafting supplies in weird or non-crafty ways?
I use my rotary paper cutter and glue dots to cut and adhere the brick or stone paper to my DH's buildings for his model train layout. He also uses my MS circle cutter for the top of silos and water towers. I always get them back though-LOL!

I have so many I don't know where to start. My favorite saying around the house is..."Another example of how scrapbooking saves the day!" Glue dots....Wire...twine...foil tape...my Crop-a-dile all seem to get used for multiple fixes around here.
My water line in the fridge (that runs to the dispenser on the front) has a habit of freezing if we don't use it every day. There are TONS of complaints about it online with GE Side by Side fridges yet GE refuses to accept responsibility and say it is a design flaw or do a recall. They do however offer a defroster add on kit. Anyway, I digress.
Last night I used my embossing gun to thaw the inside of the freezer door panel to make the water flow. I read online people were using hair dryers but I knew my embossing gun was way hotter. Voila! Water magically flows once again!
I wonder if I should keep it in the kitchen now. I rarely emboss so maybe it would get more use if I did! :)
