Does anyone have any suggestion on the best printers to use for printing? I am currently using a HP F4140 and if l use any type of paper other than copy paper or the vanilla card stock from SU it jams. I have wrecked so much of my designer paper putting it in this printer.
Any suggestion on inexpensive printers that l could purchase?

I personally have an old HP 722C bought in in late summer of 1998 and it is a work horse! I run on an almost daily basis 110lb. card stock through it. I had a newer one that copied and printed and faxed but what I found out was that I was going through so much ink it was crazy so I dug out my old printer and it works like a charm and I use loads less ink. I have read several places that is how the companies are selling their printers so inexpensively is because they are making their money in the ink cartridges. Personally I would see if you can find an older printer that is in working condition or contact HP directly and ask what printers they have currently that will handle 110lb weight paper. FYI I can print an item on regular copy paper put down some removeable double sided tape on it and put on the 110lb cardstock and print on it. I love my HP 722C.

Your welcome and look forward to hearing how you make out. I'm sure my day will be grand as there is an order due to arrive today at the LSS! LOL

Lucky You. I envious of you. I have not placed or bought any supplies in almost 3 months. Going through withdrawal big tie. Our daughter got married Sept 6th so all monies had to be put towards her event. But l am itching to place an order in the next couple of weeks. I just had knee surgery on Oct2nd and went back to work right after, so payday is coming but not quick enough.
I will let you know how l make out. I did find out that my hp 4140 does not handle heavy or thick papers, so l am going to check on my good HP 9000cse and see if it does and my lexmark. Hopefully one of the two works.

I'd like to know the same thing! My old epson bit the dust and the newer dell and lexmarks we have are dogs and ink hogs! Wish the epson still worked!
