I've seen some fantastic cards using digi stamps that have been combined to make one image.
I've got Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and not got a clue what to do. I know it's all to do with layers and transparency but other than that ... no idea. Can anybody guide me through what to do?
I spent a whole day trying and ended up tearing my hair out!
Ok Sarah I am going to try walk you through this but I am not very good at showing this through words if this doesn't work will come up with some other way to walk you through it.
Sept 1: Take stamp 1 and open in photoshop copy the layer in the layer window.
Sept 2: Take stamp2 to open it in a new photoshop file. Copy that layer.
Step 3 Turn the eye ball off (the layer) of the background layer so you can't see it.
Step 3: Take the magic wand tool (looks like a stick with sparks coming out.)
Step 4: Touch the white area and hit the delete key on your key board. The white should go way.
Do that to both images very where you see white.
Step 5: After all the white is gone drag layer with 2 to the other photoshop file now you should have 3 layer in the stamp 1 file. (layers: stamp 1, stamp 2 and the background layer you can't see.)
Step 6: Take the eraser tool and erase white lines you don't want then you should have one image save the file a new name and you should be able to print it out. See who this works for you. Send me message if you want some more help.
