My niece is getting married in 7 short weeks. I offered to make the napkin rings for those large paper/linen looking napkins with fancy plastic ware inside. I'm thinking of embossing black cardstock for the rings then cutting and layering red flowers from my cricut. For the flower center I'm just going to stickle a few silver dots. What do you think? As I said I welcome any other ideas!
What a lovely idea. I think they will turn out beautifully. Be sure to show us a picture of your finished project. A little coordinating tulle would look sweet behind your flowers, really giving it a soft, wedding feel. Just a thought.
I am new here and saw where someone laser cut the bride and the grooms name in a piece of wood veneer they wraped it around the silverware .You could cut it out with a cricket or use a punch . The strip was about 2 inches long and the white dinner napkin showed through the cutout. You can find veneer by e-mailing the wood veneer man at Rubyjo1@windstream.net
