Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Our community makes it easy to add photos to the gallery -- you can email them, send them from your phone, add them from Flickr or upload them from your computer. (You can click on the photos in this tutorial to make them "pop-up" and be larger.)

First, click on the photos tab.

Navigate to the All Photos area

Select the "+Add Photos" button

Here, a screen will open that will walk you through the options for uploading your pictures. These are all menu driven and you just follow along with the directions on the screen.

Once your pictures have uploaded, this screen will open and give you the option of limiting who can see your pictures, a place to add a description, and a place to add a keyword.

and how do i get them in an album|

Depends on if you're the album creator. If you want to make an album, just click on the Photos tab, and at the top you'll see a small plus sign with "Create an Album". You follow the menu - it's easy.

If you are trying to add your photos to someone else's album -- like playing along in a sketch challenge, you just add the keyword that the challenge hostess provided and wait. Right now, the challenge hostess has to manually move your photo into their album. We're working on having this automated, but right now, it's manual.

How do I delete photos from those I've uploaded?I

Go into your photos area and click on the picture. There should be a button on the right to delete it or edit it.

Thank you for this set of instruction. I have noticed on the site that there are a number of distorted images. So before I try and set up some images, could you please let me know the ideas or maximum dimensions for the image. That is height and width in pixels. I assume you want the images at 72 pixel resolution and in jpg format.
Cheers

The images that are distorted are ones that users cropped into a non-photo ratio. 72 or 300 dpi will work fine. JPG works fine, but png and tiff will also upload fine.
