So you want to start a group here on Paper Craft Planet? We want you to do that too... but you should know that we do ask you to follow a few rules.
Our group area is growing like crazy and it's become clear that we have to set some limits to keep the groups from overlapping and to allow the site users to find what they are looking for. Please send me a detailed description of what your group will do, and I'll also need your OK on the following rules:
The member who creates a group will be it's Moderator and will be responsible for managing the group's membership, discussions and activities. The moderator needs to maintain a positive presence in the group and participate actively in both the group and our community as a whole. It is the Moderator's responsibility to ensure all group members feel welcome and accepted.
Any Group Approval requests that duplicate or closely resemble a group that is already in existence in our community will likely be denied. There may be times when multiple groups are found to be very similar in nature or there may be a future Group Approval request similar to
your group. Should this occur, PCP administration may ask the groups to join in order to cut down on duplicate groups. We ask for your cooperation if this happens.
The purpose of all groups need to be related to Papercrafting. Feel free to socialize and chat about non-papercrafting topics within your group, but the group's main focus needs to be papercrafting. You're welcome to have a banner ad to your site or store in the group - but discussions should be limited to paper crafting. Not advertising -- please see our site rules
HERE.
All groups are open to any members of our community. If you would like to create a closed group, these requests will be handled on an individual basis by the PCP administration.
Any disputes, disagreements, or conflicts that arise within a group should be handled by the Group Moderator. In the event the dispute is not able to be resolved amicably, the Moderator should contact PCP administration for assistance.
And finally, PCP administration reserves the right to remove any group that is in violation of these policies or who's activity reflects poorly on our community.
Feel free to comment and give me your feedback. We're all here to have fun, grow and create.
