They are markers a lot like Copics, but not as expensive. I notice a lot of cardmakers in Great Britain, etc.. use them. But they are available here to.
I use copics all the time and teach how to use them for card making at workshops , i have had a go with promakers but i dont like the nibs on them , i prefer the brush nib on the copic sketch or ciao . Although if i had them i would proberly use the promakers for any fine details - if i had already purchased them .
I bought the Promarkers in March this year. Tried them out, but was very tempted to buy Copics, because of the wider range of colors. I started buying Copics in May/June and did actually sell my Promarkers some days ago. I love my Copics and I am still buying more and more colors! If you want a wider range of colors, buy the Copics (even though the Promarkers are releasing 55 new colors soon). I would prefer Copics!
I just bought a few Copic Markers t try them out. I like them but I prefer using Watercolor Pencils. I used a combination of both and this is what it looks like. Check out my blogspot at http://pattiescreations.blogspot.com/
LOVE Copics! Never tried Pro-Markers - they are a bit cheaper but I don't like the feel of them in the hand as much as Copics. Plus, some of the best artists I know (like Maddy Hill & Kim Piggott) use Copics, so if I want to become as good as them, I use the same materials.

I have about 90 of the Promarkers and love them, they are so easy to use. I did try copics loved the brush tip and the pastel colours but now the new PM's are out decided to stick with them. Althgough I have now got Prisma Pencils and love those. Need to practise so Promarkers haven't been out much lately. Sarah
I have around 60 of the Promarkers and am getting on quite well with them and I also have a set of the Prisma colouring pencils...I love them both for different looks, however recently I have seen what you can do with Copics and I have fallen in love with them, but its quite a lot of money to collect them all so I have decided to stick with the Promarkers and complete my collection as there are now 54 new colours so theres almost the same amount as the copics pens, so my mind is made up :o) Although I may invest in Copics at a leter date as I am a spendaholic when it comes to crafting
