Go raid the laundry room -- this week, we're stamping with BLEACH! Create dramatic results by stamping with this household cleaner.
For my samples this week, I truly had a rough time! I am honestly not a big "technique" stamper, so this was a challenge for me, and nothing I tried... different cardstocks, different methods of stamping etc. did not work the way I thought it was supposed to, so I'll be anxious to hear about others' success with this technique! What I finally ended up doing for this first card is getting my Clorox Bleach Pen, the kind with the gel in it, and squirting some of it onto a styrofoam tray. I smeared it around with these stamps from the
Winter Trees stamp set, then stamped directly onto Night of Navy cardstock from SU! Then I grabbed my heat gun to dry it and ended with this neat effect! In some places (like on the left side) it almost acted a little like Liquid Applique and wanted to puff up!

I matted the navy cardstock onto some brushed silver, then mounted to a plain white card base. I added some hardware from
Creative Impressions, and the "thank you" sentiment from the
Fall Swirls stamp set.
For the second card, I stamped a swirl from the
Fall Swirls set in Versamark ink on Always Artichoke Stampin' Up! cardstock, then I heat embossed with with clear embossing powder. Then I used a Fantastix stick dipped in plain bleach to color in the leaves, acorns, and part of the swirl. Some brads and ribbons from
Creative Impressions, and some Swiss Dots complete this simple design.

We'll be having a challenge each week to go along with each lesson. To play along, make a card, scrapbook page or 3D item using the simple stamping technique featured this week. Our featured techniques this week all featured glitter and flock in backgrounds. Tag your photo
b2b9 (all lowercase) so that we can pull your project into our gallery. (If you're new to Paper Craft Planet,
here is an excellent tutorial on adding photos to the gallery!)
Next Wednesday, we'll pick one lucky, random, winner from our challenge players for the generous prize pictured at the end of the lesson!
