Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hi Friends! OMG! I actually created a project and a tutorial no less! LOL! I had bought an accordion file from Ross and after studying how it was created, I decided to recreate it. It was actually quite simple to come up with the dimensions. You could probably do it yourself without instructions but I created a tutorial for you any way. Scroll down to check out the tutorial.

I created 4 of these puppies so far but I'm going to create more of them to send out to friends. Who knows. . it may be you. LOL!

I'll create a bunch more but I'll create different sizes and styles. . .I'll create a tutorial if I create a different style so you can create them too. I'll probably post the tutorial maybe Monday. I can't work on it right now because I have to create a mini album that my daughter's friend requested I make for her father on Father's Day. I also have to create a few stuff for my husband. Ugghhh. . .I guess I'll be busy the next few days.

Anyway. . .here is the purse in the closed position. I tell ya' . . .it's really easy to create this accordion file purse. After you've got the instructions down path. . .you can create this project in 30 to 45 minutes. Faster if you're a speedy crafter.

Here is the accordion file purse opened up. The pockets are really roomy. You can store a whole bunch of photos or stamped images. To close the purse, you can add your own type of closure but I used Velcro. It's much easier than to create a fancy closure. LOL! I'm all about simple and fast. No fancy closure on my purse. Maybe I should work harder and add stitches or bells and whistles to this purse but ugggh, I'm so darn lazy.

I can't handle spending too much time on a project. Honestly. . .I don't know what happened to me. There was a time when I wanted to spend hours crafting but for some reason, I can no longer spend more than an hour crafting without having to do something else. I sometimes wonder if I'm losing my mojo.

Anyway. . .I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Here is my inspiration for the project. I recreated this accordion file case that I bought. Anyway. . .if you have the time, try out the tutorial!

With the tutorial below, if you want to print it, click on the drop menu that is labeled "more", click "save document", save it to your computer and you may print directly from your file. Printing directly from the web page will print too large. You may view a full page of the tutorial by clicking on the icon to the very top right corner. It'll open up a new window with the tutorial. If you just want to enlarge directly on the blog, click on the + button or the magnifying glass! To scroll down the tutorial, slide the scroll bar to the right of the document.
